MUNICIPAL CONCERT

TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT Wagner's overture to “Tannhauser” is the outstanding number to be presented in the Town Hall this evening by the Auckland Municipal Band. Other fine items are “Our Fleet” march, “The Flying Dutchman” selection, waltz. “Tout Paris,” a Sousa suite, “At the King’s Court,” and some great moments in a selection from the works of Tschaikowsky, which includes the Finale to the “1812” overture. Messrs. McLennan and Bowes will bo responsible for charming instrumental solos, and vocal numbers will be sung by Miss Sarah Stagpoole, with Mr. Leo Whittaker at the piano.
