THEFT FROM WAREHOUSE

LOOT HIDDEN IN FRUIT SHOP F*ress Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Pleading guilty to thefts from the warehouse of YVilliam Brittenden and Son and from the boot shop of James John Pegley, Edward Tarlington Horne, aged 43, who appeared in the police Court to-day, before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Accused took goods valued at £65 from the warehouse and goods valued at £8 15s and £l6 10s in gold from the shop. Most of the goods, which were hidden in accused’s fruit shop, were recovered, but the money not.
