WEEK-END THEFTS
SUBURBAN STORE ENTERED A telephone box at the corner of Dignan and Point Chevalier Roads. Point Chevalier, was rifled on Saturday night or Sunday morning. The cash receiver had been forced open and the contents removed. A small lock-up shop at 228 Edendale Road, occupied by Mr. R. R. Forbes, was entered on Saturday night and a quantity of confectionery, cakes and biscuits, a rug and a pillow were stolen. The back door of the shop had been left open.
