“WHAT PRICE GLORY” AT GRAND
The two comedians, George K. Arthur and Karl Dane, will be seen in their latest picture, “Circus Rookies,” now showing at the Grand Theatre. Dane plays an animal trainer and Arthur a Bress agent. A complete circus was installed, with professional circus performers from different shows appearing with the screen actors and staging an elaborate circus performance. Louise Lorraine plays the heroine, who falls in love with Arthur and thus incites the jealousy of the big animal trainer. Thrilling adventures with a great trained gorilla, a wild chase over a moving circus train and other thrills vie with laughs, and through the story runs a pretty romance. “What Brice Glory,” the immortal war story, is the second attraction. Dolores Del Rio, Victor McLaglen and Edmund Burns are in the cast.
