BISHOP APPLAUDED
WAIKATO PARISHIONERS MEET (From Oar Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. There was a meeting of several lay members of the late chapter of St. Peter’s Cathedral, held to-day, who believed that, in the interests of the church, St. Peter’s parishioners should have done with their differences and work whole-heartedly together. The meeting applauded the action Bishop Cherrington in calling a meeting of communicants that he might learn the views and wishes of the majority. The hope was expressed that the bishop’s invitation would be widely accepted.
