ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT

TO-DAY’S CASES Richard Nathan, in the course of a heated religious argument in Queen Street, Onehunga, on Saturday evening, used language within the hearing of the police and public that cost him 30s at the Onehunga Police Court to-day. For breaches of the traffic by-laws G. W. Crocombe and Bernard Clews were each lined 10s. They pleaded guilty to charges of having no taillights on their cycles. J. O’Connor was lined 20s for having no lights on his motor-car. L. J. Houltliam was lined 20s for riding without a light on his bicycle. T. A. Sullivan was lined 10s for cycling on the footpath. Herbert Christian was fined £1 10s for riding a motor-cycle on the footpath. Theo Bachand, for obstructing traffic in Queen Street, Onehunga, was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
