FLYER LOSES BOTH LEGS

It is reported that the hospital surgeons have decided to amputate both Major Carlo Delprete’s legs. It will be recalled that the injured man, with Captain Arturo Ferrarin, both of whom last month flew from Rome to Brazil, crashed in a test flight at Rio de Janeiro on August 7.
