BACK TO THE BUSH

PRISONER GIVEN 24 HOURS TO LEAVE CITY “If you are not out of town by to-morrow, you will get a month.” With this warning Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., ordered John Patrick O’Shannessy, aged 34, who pleaded guilty at the Police Court this morning to being found on the premises of the Vulcan Buildings, to come up for sentence when called upon. Sub-Inspector McCarthy said that O’Shannessy had an unsavoury list, but had given no trouble for about a year. Mr. Hunt: Where have you been during that time? O’Shannessy: W'orking in the Bush Country.

Mr. Hunt: Well, you had better get back there immediately.
