PRIZE ESSAYS

HONOUR FOR CORNWALL PARK Phyllis Ross and R. Aldiss, both of Cornwall Park School, were presented with the first and second prizes of Flag Cup Essay Competition yesterday. The cup was presented to the school by Mr. A. Burns, chairman of the Auckland Education Board, who congratulated staff and children on the success. A gold medal was given to Miss Ross and three books from the staff were presented to Master Aldis.
