Prime Minister Visits Auckland

PRIVATE DEPUTATIONS ELECTION ARRANGEMENTS The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, arrived in Auckland this morning, and will leave for Wellington -again this evening. H© is spending the day hearing private deputations. Several of them concern the position in Auckland electorates in connection with the approaching elections. An endeavour is being made to prevent the threatened vote-splitting. Mr. Coates stated that he was yet unable to announce the probable date when Parliament would adjourn, the approximate date of the elections, or his intended political activities.
