At tile Canterbury Park meeting yesterday a feature of the day’s sport was a dead heat, in which two Xew Zealand horses played the leading parts. In an exciting finish between First Acre and Prince Humphrey the New Zealand pair dashed past the post level, and the judge declared a dead-heat. Market Day, who finished third, was four lengths away. Time. 1.155.
