VINCE PARKER WINS

N.Z. BOXER IN AUSTRALIA BUTCHER BEATS PAUL (United P.A. — By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.5 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. At Parramatta last night, Vince Parker, New Zealand, lOst 121 b, outpointed Douglas Lisson, 12st 21b, over ten rounds. Parker led throughout, using an excellent straight left, and severely punishing his opponent, who was down twice in the fifth and again in the sixth round. Thereafter, the New Zealander won easily. At the Leichhardt Stadium, Eddie Butcher, 9st 121 b, outpointed Jack Paul, 9st 121 b, New Zealand. Butcher was down for eight in the third round, but the New Zealander failed to folow up his advantage. He tired after the fifth, and lack of condition robbed his punches of sting. At the final bell he was very tired, and slightly behind on points.
