A TRUSTWORTHY SCARE

A DMIRERS of the Great Northern Derby favourite, Trustworthy, are at present showing signs of uneasiness, and the manner in which the filly was stopping at the end of a mile work-out the other morning was the chief cause of their alarm. The daughter of Worthy Bond was certainly distressed when the post was reached, and her effort was not as impressive as some witnessed previously. “Too much grass” was assigned as the cause of the trouble, the filly having the day before broken bounds and made an attack on a field of tempting Penrose pasturage. Her connections are not worrying over the incident, and are confident she will be ready for the big classic.
