PURPLE AND GOLD
EFFECTIVE DECORATIONS AT FAREWELL PARTY Yesterday morning: a delightful tea pa.rty was given at the Tudor rooms by members of the Mutual Club, in honour of Mrs. Freeman Smith and Miss Ella Walker, two members who are leaving for a visit to Sydney. The soft golden beauty of wattle bloom was offset by low bowls of fragrant violets on the table, and a dainty posy of violets was presented to each of the principal guests. Those present were: Mrs. O. Brett, Mrs. P. Crump, Mrs. Von Stunner, Mrs. Weetman, Mrs. Warnock, Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Sydney Robertson, Mrs. F. Wilson, Mrs. A. Coney, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. F. Owen, Mrs. W. Murray, Mrs. Browning, Mrs. Twohill, Mrs. Steele, Mrs. Nicks, Mrs. Lloyd. Miss Walker and Miss Bowden.
