CARD TOURNAMENT

FOR CHURCH FUNDS A well attended “500” tournament was held at the residence of Mrs. Miller, Huia Road, Papatoetoe, on Tuesday evening. After a very interesting round of games, the prizes were won by Mrs. A. G. Grinter 1, Mrs. Moore (Otahuhu) 2, Mrs. Fred Fohlen 1, Mr. Arthur Elder 2. The proceeds of the function are to be devoted to the funds of the Papatoetoe Catholic Church. A special trophy has been given to go to the winner of the highest number of aggregate points during the season.
