CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR
WORK IN AUCKLAND Thirty-nine delegates from the various Christian Endeavour Societies in Auckland met on Tuesday evening in the Beresford Street Congrreg-ational Hall for the monthly meeting of the Council of the Auckland Christian Endeavour Union. After reports had been read by the delegates, Mr. H. Bristow, senior superintendent, reported that he had visited seven senior societies curing the month. Miss Welch, junior superintendent, said that she had visited three junior societies in the month and two others were visited by the Visitation Committee. It was decided that tho annual convention of the Auckland C.E. Union should be held this year on September 22-24. The meetings being the annual business meeting, when the Rev. A. S. Wilson would give an address; the junior rally, when a junior cantata, “The Junior Garden,” would be given by the juniors and an address delivered by the Rev. Palgrave Davy; C.E. Sunday through Auckland; and i the Consecration Rally, when addresses j would be given by the Rev. A. W. Bean j and the Rev. L. B. Fletcher, and also | the incoming president.
