VAUDEVILLE AND PICTURES The marvellous D’Almaines will present a further series of mysteries of Oriental oceulation at the Prince Edward Theatre this evening. The p’Almaines are magicians and illusionists of a high order. The mystifying question: “Do the dead return,” is investigated by Miss Gladys and an added attraction" is the Hindoo Torture Board, fire-eating and broken bottles. "The Latest From Paris,” featuring Norma Shearer and Ralph Forbes, is the principal movie attraction. Norma on this occasion is seen as a smart, up-to-the-minute young business woman, working for an enterprising Jewish firm of costumiers. Norma, however, eventually discovers that she prefers a happy home and the youth of her heart, to the financial security and success of a business career. George Sidey and Tenen Holtz are most amusing as the Hebrew partners. “The Tigress.” starring Jack Holt, will also be shown.
