PROBATION FOR ASSAULT
DUNEDIN SUPREME COURT Press Association DUNEDIN, Wednesday. In the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Ostler, John McGillivray, for assault at Tokoiti, was admitted to probation for one year. John William Ashworth Chadwick, for assaulting a male, received a sentence of two years’ hard labour. Albert Graham, charged with the theft of rabbit skins, was found not guilty.
