DANGER ON HAURAKI PLAINS WARNING BY MR. SAMUEL (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Parliament’s attention was drawn to the serious spread of tall fescue on the Hauraki Plains by Mr. A. M. Samuel last evening, during a discussion on the Noxious Weeds Bill which was read the second time. "If care is not taken,” said Mr. Samuel, ‘‘the fescue will spread all over the Hauraki Plains and drive many farmers off their land.
