GRACEFUL TRAPEZIST BREAKS MANY BONES BUT SHOWS NO SCARS

A YEAR ago Constance Argyl, a graceful trapeze performer, reached for the rope and grasped a handful of air. When her body was picked up 40 feet below the surgeons found she had broken both wrists, her collarbone, jaw, and one leg. Her ankles were dislocated and she had internal injuries. “I haven’t a scar to show what happened,” declared Constance on resuming work to-day.
