Sale of Roses LADY PARR'S EFFORT Lady Parr had a well organised party together at New Zealand House on “Rose Lay’* to assist in the sale of roses in aid of Queen Alexandra’s Hospital fund Lady Parr had her headquarters in the hall of the Hew Zealand Office, and her body of helpers, who had had definite posts allotted to them in the Strand and vicinity, called in at various times during the day to replenish their baskets. Lady Parr’s helpers were: Miss Joan Beere, Miss R. Carey, Miss Molly Ellis, Misses C. and L. Fitzherbert, Miss France, Mrs. and Miss Friend, Miss E. A. Hawken, Mrs. Holmes, and the Misses B. and C. Holmes, Miss Joyce Herdman, j Misses L. and V. Jones, Miss J. Lau- { renson, Misses A. M. and S. Levin, j Misses Marjorie, Lola, and Daphne j Myers, Miss F. Nicholson, Miss K. A. Macfarlane, Miss Rona Miller, Miss Betty Parr, Miss A. Shortt, Miss O. Turton, Mrs. Ricketts, Miss S. Watson, Miss Letty Williams, Mrs. F. Woodard, Mrs. McCarthy Reid, Miss Mary Rutter, Miss Linda Barnett, Mrs. Shortt, and Miss Anscombe. The total amount collected was about £l2O.
