BURIED IN SLIP
DEATH AN ACCIDENT Press Association. DUNEDIN, Monday. An inquest into the death of Henry Dineen, a labourer, who was killed by a fall of earth on the Port ChalmersSpit Road on July 26, was held this morning before Mr. J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., coroner. After hearing the evidence of several witnesses, the coroner stated he was convinced that the work had been carried out in the usual manner, and that all reasonable precautions had been taken. A verdict that death was due to an accidental fall of earth was returned.
