MONEY TAKEN FROM DRAWER

THEFT FROM GARAGE OWNER (Special to THE SUN) TAIHAPE, Monday. The sum of £2B was removed from a drawer in the office of Nieholls Bros., garage proprietors, on Saturday. After paying some of the staff, Mr. C. Nicholls, a member of the firm, placed the rest of the wages in the drawer, and then went away, after instructing a member of the staff to lock up before departing. Apparently the employee in question omitted to do this, as when Mr. f\ T icholls returned the office drawer was unlocked, and the cash was missing.
