NEW PONSONBY THEATRE

It is expected that arrangements for the building of a new theatre on the corner of Ponsonby Road and Pompalier Terrace, at a cost of £40.000, will be completed shortly. The section is occupied by a number of shops, the leases for which have expired. The frontage to Ponsonby Road is 123 ft, and the depth is about 100 ft. The plans were drawn by Mr. D. J. G. Plumley and submitted to Mr. X. Cole, whose tender is now under consideration.
