ANOTHER FOR AUCKLAND
jifß. TED BRIDGENS, who re- _ turned yesterday from a brief visit to Dunedin and Christchurch, purchased the aged Four Chimes gelding Nihilist Junr., while in the South. The pacer, who won several heats last season, has been placed in J. Bryce’s stable in the meantime, and later will come to Auckland and join his new owner’s other horses under the care of H. Kinnimont. Nihilist Junr. is a useful sort, particularly with the weight on top, and won close on £6OO in stake money, his successes being gained in saddle events.
