Mr. W. Spence, secretary of the Auckland Racing Club, left for ‘Wellington by the Limited last evening.
Mr. A. E. Davy, Dominion organiser for the United Party, arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning.
The Hon. J. Craigie, M.L.C., returned to Wellington last evening, after a short visit to Auckland.
Mr. J. Henrys, who has been visiting the South, returned to Auckland by the Limited this morning.
Mr. D. Holderness, Dominion organiser for the Reform Party, returned to Wellington last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. A. Myhre, who are visiting their son in Auckland, are staying at the Central Hotel.
Sir John Russell, the visiting agricultural scientist, left for Welington bv the Limited last evening.
Mr. M. H. Wynyard, deputy-chair-man of the Auckland Harbour Board, left for Wellington by train last evening.
Mr. C. C. Collette, and Mrs. Collette were among the passengers by the Tofua this morning. They W'ill spend some time in the Dominion.

Mr. J. L. Wheeler, who is personally conducting a party of American tourists through New Zealand, arrived from the Islands with his party on the Tofua this morning.
Mr. Howard Moody will leave on Wednesday to conduct the J. C. Williamson orchestra with the company which is playing the Travers farces through New Zealand.
The Rev. S. L. Boot, of the Nortlicote Presbyterian Church, who has accepted a call from the Balrannal Church in New South Wales, will leave by the Marama on August 17.
The death of the former secretary of the Auckland Musicians’ Union, Mr. George F. Cater, was referred to with regret at the meeting of the union yesterday, and a motion of sympathy was passed with the relatives.
Mr. R. S. Galbraith, Commissioner of Crown Lands for Otago, arrived by the Tofua this morning after a holiday vacation in the Islands. He was accompanied by his daughters, Mrs. F. Me Rowe and Miss G.
