AUCKLAND V, CANTERBURY Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The weather is dull but fine and the ground firm for the Auckland v. Canterbury representative Rugby match. In the Auckland team N. Jenk.in and Jeffries are five-eighths. Falwasser is an emergency. Canterbury will be handicapped by the absence of Page and Chesley. The Auckland team is:—Backs: Paewai, Minns, L. Hook, R. Hook, Jenkins, Jeffries, Carter; forwards, Linton, Palmer, Finlayson, Wanoa, Batty, Anderson, Knight and Cathcart. G. Cox is to replace Page as half for Canterbury, owing to the latter’s illness.
