SENSATIONAL SCORE (United P.A.—Bg Telegraph — Copyright) SYDNEY, Friday. The second round of the women’s golf championship at the Rose Bay course produced a sensation. Miss Mona McLeod (Victoria) returned a score of 77, equalling Miss Kay’s record done yesterday. Miss Kay could not reproduce her yesterday’s form, and she took 87. She was the only New Zealander to qaulify for the match play, which begins on Tuesday. The leaders for the championship are: Miss McLeod, 159; Miss Kay, 164; Mrs. Gatehouse (Victoria), 165; Mrs. Barton (New South Wales), 167: Miss Tolhurst (Victoria), 167. The other New Zealand scores were: Miss Payton, 185; Miss Stevens, 189; Miss Snodgrass, 192.
