LABOUR DEPARTMENT SYMPATHETIC Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. The attitude of the Labour Department in reference to the proposal to introduce daylight saving into various parts of the Dominion was announced by Mr. Waite, the officer in charge of the Wellington District Labour Office. The department is willing to assist any such schemes as proposed by regarding any* arrangements that might be agreed upon between the parties as complant with the various awards.
