FOR COUNTRY QUEEN

Visitors from all the neighbouring | districts attended a particularly bright j dance held on Tuesday evening in the j Alanurewa Theatre Royal. The organ- j isation of the function was in the ! hands of the committee of the Catho- j lie Country Queen, Aliss Alarie Darby, j and was headed by Aliss Juckes. A canopy of multi - coloured j streamers and balloons liid the ceiling j and on the stage greenery and streamers ; were effectively arranged.
