WATER SUPPLY BILL
ONE TREE HILL AWAITS DECISION MEETING OF ROAD BOARD It was decided by the One Tree Hill Road Board last evening to await the decision of the special committee set up by the Local Bodies’ Conference before considering the proposed Water Supply Bill, a copy of which was received from the City Council. A letter was received from the City Council agreeing to rename the city section of Green Lane “Green Lane East.” The clerk was instructed to take the necessary steps to have the One Tree Hill section renamed “Green Lane West.” The board decided to have 200 flowering cherries planted along the Great South Road, near the Harp of Erin, at an estimated cost of £ 59j
