Play In the cricket match between England and West Indies was dull and slow. On an easy wicket, West Indies, in the second innings, made 115 (S. T. Hill 38). Freeman took five wickets for 39. and White three for 41. England won by an innings and 30 runs. The “Daily News” cricket correspondent describes the finish of the test as the tamest for many years. He says the West Indies team has much to learn before it can justify its new* rank. With six wickets in hand, and re quiring 74 runs to necessitate a second English innings, the batsmen petered out unimpressively. Constantine was twice dropped. Freeman’s figures to-day were nine overs, 14 runs, three wickets. His match figures are 10 for 93. He has taken 192 wickets for the season.
