TO PRESERVE ALL SAINTS

REPAIR WORK EFFECTED Steel tie-rods have been used to prevent the walls of All Saints’ Church, Howick, from bulging out, and a big effort is being made to preserve the SO-year-old church.

The roof has been made rainproof, and a concrete base and gutter have been put down to prevent storm water from flowing under the building. Canon H. Mason is appealing for funds for the painting of the church.
