ST. GEORGE’S, TAKAPUNA
ANNUAL MEETING Progress in all departments of St. George’s Presbyterian Cljurch, Takapuna, was shown in the report to the annual meeting. The Rev. Morgan Richards presided, and was assisted by the Rev. I. E. Bertram. The report of the session was read by the session clerk, Mr. R. Johnstone, and it showed much advancement in church matters. The report of the managers’ board, read by the clerk, Mr. Hanna, showed progress in church management affairs, notably a new Sunday school hall, electric light installation, and repairs to church. The women’s Guild was accorded commendation for financial assistance. The reports of the other organisations of the church all showed progress. The record attendance, and promising future of the Sunday school led the secretary to express a desire for further accommodation. The officers of the managers’ court, with the exception of one retiring officer, were unanimously re-elected, and three further nominations were submitted. A social gathering followed.
