Yielding to the representations of the Musicians’ Union, the Federal and Home Territories’ Department has advised musical and theatrical entrepreneurs that in future official consent must bo obtained before bringing foreign musicians for orchestras into Australia. The fullest information regarding nationality must be supplied.
