SMASHED WINDOW RESULTS Deeming discretion the better part of valour a cat, on encountering an aggressively-inclined dog in Mount Eden Road this morning, sought safety in flight. She dashed across the pavemen and tried to jump through the plate glass window of the City Dairy, but was thrown back on to the pavement. The dog, unable to stop himself, crashed right through the glass, hopelessly smashing it .
