“BUNTY PULLS THE STRINGS’
CONCERT CHAMBER ON WEDNESDAY
The St. Andrew’s Society will present the play, “Bunty Pulls the Strings,” at the Town Hall Concert Chamber for a season of four nights, commencing next Wednesday. “Bunty Pulls the Strings” is a faithful delineation of Scottish life and character 60 years ago, and is interpreted by a brilliant cast of leading Auckland amateurs, under the direction of Mr. Kenneth Brampton. Special attention has been given to the mounting and dressing. The box plans are now open at Lewis Eady, Ltd. THISTLE SOCIAL CLUB The Thistle Social Club commences this evening the first of a series of social evenings. They will all be held in the Masonic Hall, with dancing from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. LUNA PARK OPEN THIS EVENING All the fun of the fair is promised at the popular Luna Park Amusement Area, which will be open again this evening, with free admission at the gates.
At Luna Park there are side-shows and amusements for young and old. as well as thrills and excitement for those who want them.
