ARRESTS IN SPAIN.—The members of the Spanish League for the Rights of Man assert that more than 1,000 arrests have been made in Spain. A message from Madrid says the Spanish Government denies that any plot was discovered. It alleges that Socialists. Republicans and Liberals have been arrested, but purely as a preventative measure.— A.P.A.-TJ.S.
