SMITH A DEFENDANT SHARE IN PROFIT CLAIMED PARTNERSHIP QUESTION
(United P.A.—-By Telegraph — Copyright) Received 9.20 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. LITIGATION arising from the Pacific flight was begun in the Equity Court by Lieutenant Keith Anderson, who claims a share of the. profits of the flight from SquadronLeader Kingsford Smith and Flight-Lieutenant C. T. Ulum.
He alleges lie was a partner in the venture since July, 1927, when the preparations were begun. Plaintiff declared that he went to America with * ScLuadron-1 e a d e i Smith and Lieuten ant Ulm. He advance! sums of money tc help the venture and after the pur chase of the air plane, he, with de fendants’ consent returned to Aus tralia. Anderson swears that he has advanced more than £4OO to date. Defendants deny
and contend that the Southern Cross monorjane was the gift of Mr. Allan Hancock, an American hanker. Mr. Justice Owen granted a temporary injunction, restraining the defendants from dealing with flight funds.
