More Oysters To-Day

Expectant of the arrival of ioo sacks, the Government oyster depot believes that to-day will it the biggest market since the oyster season began. Bad weather and an influenza epidemic among the pickers are both said to have delayed supplies, and the retailers and restaurantkeepers were becoming impatient. But the pickers are back at work and the prospects for the next week are much brighter. So far the season has yielded about 1,500 sacks, which is about the tme as last year.
