MORE POWER FOR RANGERS
SOUTHERN PROPOSAL Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. At a meeting of the. North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society, the following remit was for appio\al at the annual conference: “That the powers of rangers be extended by empowering them, under an Act, (1) to stop any vehicle or boat, with power to search; (2.) to search any person whom they have reason to suspect to be unlawfully in possession of protected game or fish."
