BRIDGE PARTY

Mrs. R. Roberts, of Remuera Road, decollated her drawing-room with bowls of sweet-smelling spring flowers on Monday evening when she entertained a number of her friends at a bridge party. Violets and the earliest of primroses appeared in low crystal bowls, and daffodils and jonquils lent their gold and white beauty to the supper tables. Mrs. Douglas Aitken, whose ivory tulle frock was relieved witli a scarlet posy. Mrs. M. D. Carson, in a lace and georgette frock of rose colouring. Miss P. Walton, wearing black georgette and lace. Miss W. Simon, in a frock of briar rose tulle. Miss Daphne Clark, who chose moonmist blue niariette. Miss C. Dawson, wearing geranium red taffeta and gold lace.
