The visitor were very appreciative of the wefecZ. accorded them, and extended a heart, invitation to return the visit on Thurc day evening. After a long discussion regarding spoil for filling at the overhead railwa/ bridge, on the Great South Road, it ww decided to accept an offer of Mr. Ferguson for the necessary spoil, free ol cost, providing the board makes good any damage incurred. The District Land Registrar advised, for the second time recently, that he was not the board’s legal adviser, and suggested the board should confer with its solicitor regarding"the boundary line of the town board district affecting Friedlander’s Road. The conditions of the lease of portion of the cemetery reserve to Mr. Davis was approved, and Mr. Davis was granted permission to remove any fences. The engineer was instructed to report on the cost of footpath on Brown’s Road, between Sturdee and Jeilicoe Roads.
