NORTHERN FARMERS SUPPORT MR. GROUNDS

DAIRY BOARD POLICY NO STATE NOMINEE WANTED Press Association. DARGAVILLE, To-day. The North Auckland representative on the Dairy Produce Board, Mr. W. Grounds, addressed a large meeting of farmers here yesterday and explained the board’s affairs. After a lengthy address the following resolution was unanimously carried: “That this meeting of dairy farmers of Northern Wairoa thanks Air. Grounds for his address and expresses its confidence in him and the policy of co-operative marketing. We regret that injury was done to the spirit of co-operation by the dissensions among members of the board, and we desire the removal of the Government and trade representative from that board, so that dairy affairs may be in the hands of the dairy producers.”
