TERRIBLE CAR SMASH
FIVE KILLED IN SYDNEY (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 10.5 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. There was a terrible motor-car accident at 3 o’clock this morning. Eight persons were injured, mostly women, five of them dying. The car, which struck an electriclight pole, was reduced to fragments. The accident occurred in the vicinity of the Liverpool military camp.
