WOMAN KILLED IN COLLISION / Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. In a collision between a motor-car and a trap this evening, Elizabeth Ester Bowman, a married woman, who lived near Rangiora, was killed. The car, which was driven by the husband of the deceased, met in a head-on collision with the trap driven by a lad named Walters. One shaft of the cart peqetrated the windscreen of the car and struck Mrs. Bowman on the chest, entering her right breast. Death was instantaneous.
