The company which will play “Thark,” “Rookery Nook” and “The Cuckoo in the Nest,” will arrive in Auckland on Tuesday, some days before the season opens. Hastings Lynn, who plays the leading roles, is a brother of Ralph Lynn, the celebrated English comedian. Minnie Rayner, who plays the suspicious “day woman” in “Rookery Nook,” first met George Highland, the producer of that farce, when they were among the younger people at the Prince of Wales’s Theatre, London. Miss Rayner was appearing as Phyllis in “Dorothy,” and Mr. Highland was the call boy.
