LATE DR. JAMES MOIR

FUNERAL AT WAIKUMETE

Following a service conducted by the Rev. G. C. Cruickshank at the home, Berauera Road, the funeral of the late Dr. James Moir, one of the oldest practising members of the medical profession in Auckland who died on Thursday, took place at the Waikumete Crematorium yesterday. The Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, the town clerk, Mr. J. S. Brigham, representatives of the medical profession and of the Rechabite, Oddfellows* and Foresters’ Lodges, of which Dr. Moir was the medical officer, as well as a large number of friends, were among those present. There were over 60 wreaths.
