RACING CONFERENCE REMEDY DUTIES FOR COMMITTEE Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. At the Racing Conference the following motion, moved by the chairman, was carried: “That, in view of the increased work required in the control of racing in New Zealand, the Conference appoint a vice-president and executive committee, consisting of a president, vice-president and six representatives of the Conference.”

The new committee would take the place of the Conference committee, he said, and the powers heretofore exercised by the president, would be exercised by the committee.
