BRITANNIA

VAUDEVILLE AND PICTURES One of the most remarkable vaudeville acts seen in Auckland for some time has been secured for the Britannia Theatre this evening. This is Webb'i Performing Ponies. They have been trained to do some really intelligent and interesting work. The second attraction is Adolph Menjou’s latest picture, “Serenaflp." It is the story of a man whose music makes him famous only after he has met the girl whose love inspires him toward greater things. It is a story of fame and applause, and forgetfulness; of love and duplicity and despair. And running all through it is something that takes it apart from anything that has been shown here in many a month —a song, a serenade, that can be felt if not heard.
